Today was a big day for Trixie.  First she went to the groomers - her first visit.  According to the report, a little nervous, but did well and gave a LOT of kisses. Then we had an hour wait to see the vet (both visits at PetSmart), so we went to Kiwanis park and walked around the lake.  Trixie for the most part did well, didn't spark on the ducks, nor bikes or runners.  She did NOT like the young men up on the hill, pulling things from big black cases.  It looked like photography equipment, and Trixie did not like the tripod.  Big sticks in the hands of young men.  Interesting. It was difficult to get her to go past, but once she did pass, was O.K.  She stopped in the shade and greeted a young family with children.  More kisses.  She is such a sweet girl.  And now, again as I write, she is sleeping on the chair next to me.

I guess she really is, my dog.  Or I am her human.........  Either way, it is a good thing.
